The universal language is MUSIC, which surrounds a handpainted "LORD of MUSIC" and It's made from a collage of fabrics from around the world. It has been on shown in numerous places, including Folk Art Museum in New York and the Black Arts Expo in New York City's Puck Bldg.

This piece was inspired for the healing of victims of "Domestic Violence". Hand painted Symbols of Healing are surrounded by a collage of fabrics from around the world. It has been on shown in numerous places, including Folk Art Museum in New York and the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York City.
Today HEALING SPIRIT is part of the permanent collection of The 2002 Designer's Showcase House in Springfield, Massachusetts.

From Mother Earth is a statement in diversity through appliques and reverse applique in shades of black, white & gray. It incorporates the universal feeling for Music among all peoples, and the origin of the footsteps of many cultures coming from the same "MOTHER EARTH".
It's made from a collage of fabrics from around the world. It has been on shown in numerous places,the last was "the Civil Right's Museum in Memphis Tennesee.

"Nurturing Spirit " Estimate $1800

This qulit hangs in the Special Delivery Childbirth Center in the Childrens Hospital of Hartford Connecticut's Hartford Hospital.
Mother&Child are appliqued on hand dyed Silk. The Mother's Head wrap and Shawl are of discharged Rayon. Her necklace is hand beaded with African cowrie shells on a leather braid. Her earring are hand beaded with stones in tiger's eye,turquoise and african Trade Beads. The piece is bordered in handwoven African Ashoke Fabric from the Ashante tribes of Ghana.
